Following my post today will be a laundry list of great Ellora’s Cave authors who write some of the best erotic romance available. But Christine was willing to let me, NOT an EC author, be a part of her awesome collection. The honor is all mine.
When I started writing, I didn’t even know erotic romance existed. I began reading it when I became a reviewer for Romance Divas. And my first one was from Ellora’s Cave. After that? I couldn’t get enough of it.
Then, I was directed to Joey W. Hill. Oh. My. God. I fell in love. Hot sex scenes? Yes. Great characters? Absolutely. But it was the psychology of Joey Hill’s interactions.
Since then, I’ve been influenced by many erotic romance authors. Christine D’Abo’s “Bonded” series, Kate Pearce, Crystal Jordan’s shifters, Loribelle’s Sci Fi and many, many more. But I’ll never forget that most of my favorite erotic authors are published at Ellora’s Cave.

Hi Jennifer! I love your story about how EC influenced your reading over the years, and I think it’s great that EC (as well as many other epublishers) offers so many great reads for every taste. I like the fact that publishing is opening up and branching out to bring readers things they would never have seen on the shelves (or their e-reader) years ago.

Great post, Jennifer. EC got me hooked on erotic romance with my first book, Elizabeth’s Wolf. Now I read erotic romance almost exclusively, and Joey Hill!!??? Totally love her characters and how she writes such amazing romances.

I remember finding out about ebooks a couple of years ago and I was so thrilled to find out about publishers who had such great selections…Ellora’s Cave, Loose Id, Liquid Silver, Siren Publishing, Black Velvet Seduction and so many more. I was like a kid in a candy store with all the incredible books I found…I’ve been an ebook convert since then and now have an e-collection to rival my print collection.
