Vacation Recovery and New Projects

I have to say, taking a vacation when you aren’t completely stressed out makes for a nice change. Instead of spending the week trying to recover, I was actually able to have fun and enjoy myself. With my mom up, I put my poor husband to work. We hung pictures on walls that have been bare for over a year, hung curtains (chocolate brown, and I’m going to pain the room a blue), and even put some shelves up. I think I’m all decorated out LOL!

With my house now in order (and mostly clean), I’m ready to start a new project. I tried to do some writing last night, but had a few false starts. After sleeping on it, I think I may have worked out what some of the basic plot issues were. I may leave it to mull over a bit more though, and continue working on the other book I started.

This weekend, I’m getting together with some friends for a writing weekend. I am super excited about the whole thing, and can’t wait to immerse myself in writing geekdom. :D Of course, there will be wine and chocolate…

How was everyone’s week?

  • I was thinking about the thing again, why am I thinking of this when I need to think of my own? LOL!! Probably because I feel bad I’m making a panster plot. LOL

I am SOOOO looking forward to this weekend. It’ll be my last chance to meet with writer friends before *J* makes an appearance.

  • There will be CHOCOLATE???!!!??
    I’m totally coming :)
