Yeah!! It’s happy, squishy, gooey, love day!!! Well, tomorrow is at least. 
I’m a firm believer (as I think a lot of people are) that you should show your family and friends how much you love them year round, and not make such a big deal about Valentine’s Day. I mean, it’s a fantastic excuse for chocolate and stuff, but very commercial.
One of the things I do love doing, it buying my girls Valentine’s Day treats. It was always fun for me to get some chocolates from my parents. Mind you, Valentine’s Day is also my younger sister’s birthday. They didn’t want me to feel left out…
Speaking of which, my baby sister turns thirty-two tomorrow. This sounds very, very odd to me…because she’s my baby sister. And if she’s turning thirty-two, that means I’m turning thirty-five this summer and that’s just WRONG!
*sob*
Tomorrow is also our RWA chapter meeting. I’m excited to be going and to have a chance to see everyone. There will be lots of hugs to go around (you’ve all been warned!). And when I get home, I have a nice evening planned with my husband.
It makes me all squishy inside!

I’ve never been big on Valentine’s Day myself, it just seems too manufactured. However, this year we WILL be celebrating since both boys will be out of the house at the same time for the first time in … well, since forever. Which means Gizmo Guy is taking me out for lunch and then a movie, and some serious snuggling in the evening … which means I won’t see you at tomorrow’s TRW meeting.

I know, my Mom took the kids. Me and Chris are having dinner after the meeting. Squee! Dinner alone, what a concept.
He already brought me a dozen roses yesterday. I feel gooey.
