Head Down – Eye on the Prize

*looks up at title*

Not sure where that one came from, but I think it’s something I need to work on. I’ve been…slack with my writing recently. I’ve needed the mental break, the chance to refocus on where I want to go professionally. This has been true for both my writing career, and my day job.

With one of those now sorted, I’m able to focus on the other. I’ve done a lot of thinking, and now, I’m ready to write!

So, step one – finish The Bond That Saves Us.

Yes, all you fans of my Eternal Bond series, the last book will be finished by the end of January if it kills me! I’ll start giving you updates so you know how Sean is making out. :D

On a completely unrelated note, I’m all caught up on House, Dexter, Supernatural, and NCIS. I’m still working my way through Fringe, and 24 starts up this weekend. *sigh* I’ve gone from not having any shows that I like to watch, to a gizillion.

So how is everyone else making out? Surviving your first week of 2009?

  • I knew you were watching TV. LOL. ;)

  • Between you and Amy, I don’t know how you guys manage the word output you do. First Week of 2009 has turned out like most others – expensive. But such is life. Now *cracks whip* back to work on poor Sean’s story!

  • Yay on Sean’s story :)

I’m so glad you took time out to refresh and recharge. Congrats again on your new position and with your renewed vigor toward writing.
As for TV,… I’m still pissed they cancelled Eli Stone and would give up TV altogether if Lost wasn’t coming back on.
(of course I jest. What would I do without the idjit box?)

  • Ya see, I like the change of pace
