Dropped Coffee, Cats, and Book Reviews

Well I had a fun start to my day. More snow landed in my area, and I wasn’t quite ready for it. I had an early morning meeting, and ended up being late because things were so bad in my subdivision. I then dropped my entire mug of coffee on the ground once I got to the office. That means I’m forced to drink crap coffee out of the machine *blech*.

My day started to look up when I finally got to my email and discovered that The Bond That Consumes Us received a five heart rating from The Romance Studio!

Wow! I picked this one up and couldn’t put it down. Taber is a tortured soul, and I had a lot of sympathy for him when I found out what had happened to him earlier in his life. The way it was put together in the story explained a lot of his actions so that it made sense and really enhanced it. Fallon was a great character; she’s strong, sexy and knows how to go after what she wants, which is this powerful, dominant man. The sex in the story is passionate and hot, and in context. The secondary characters were great; they didn’t take over the story but I was left wondering what’s going to happen to at least one of them… Sean. I thought this was a fantastic story, full of rich characters and fast paced enough to keep me reading until the story was done. Don’t miss it!

Thank you so much Julia!! I’m working hard on Sean’s story now, and hope to have it done around the end of December.

My friend then sent me the little short below. I laughed my ass off! I have a cat, and she so does this. Normally when I’m trying to write on my computer LOL!

  • LMAO at that video, Christine. We used to have cats that did that all the time too. Ugh on the dropped coffee and congrats on the review.

  • I saw that short once, can’t remember where … congrats on the review!! I think it’s well deserved. :)

  • Congrats on the review!!! WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!
ah yes… cats. I have two, therefore, I sit on the floor.

  • Congrats on the review. Hubby and I were talking about cats last night and decided we were glad we didn’t have one. A workmate moved into a new house. She was sitting on her loo in the en suite and spied something under the bed. It was a rat with no tail or legs. Evidently their cat considers these parts a delicacy. :)
