So on the writing front I’ve been pretty slack this summer. I think I really needed the break to try and fill the creative well. But I’m not going to let myself slack any longer!
I need goals…
So, getting back into the habit that worked so well for me in the past, I’m going to post my goals for the week. In fact, I’m going to reinstate…KICK IN THE PANTS!
The month of September is going to be designed to give me a boot to the rear and get me focused. Here is what I’m planning this week:
- Edits to Heaven’s Sight (first three chapters)
- Pick which story to work on, either Heaven’s Fire or The Bond That Saves Us
- Write at least 5000 words on that story
That should be enough to get me going.
What are your plans for the weekend?
You know what I’m working on. Ugh.
Try to fend off plot monkey’s or bunnies or whatever the heck the mutant species that is plaguing me and keep up with the decluttering.
I hope I don’t have another Gallbladder attack like last weekend, my Dr. appointment is this coming Tuesday. I have to survive till then.

Editing Delving Deep
Outlining a sequel to Sam’s story … once I figure out what character to follow - maybe I’ll brainstorm storylines for several characters and see which one talks to me the most.
Oh, and sleep. Sleeping is good. Sleeping is necessary. Sleeping is impossible. Long story. But thinking neighbour’s hot tub parties from midnight to 2 a.m., Blackberries ringing on call at 3:30, unexpected visitor at 4 a.m. yeah, sleeping and me? Not happening.

I just finished a book this past Friday, so I’m taking a few days before I plunge back into the fray.
