I’ve decided that I hate the rain for one reason…I can’t get outside to mow my lawn. The neighbours are about to pound on my door I’m sure. The grass in my backyard is damn near half a foot high. Literally everytime I have five minutes to go out and get it done, the heavens open up, lightning comes, and buckets of water attempt to drown me.
Of course I’m sitting in my office at the moment looking out the window at the sun…cursing…
*pathetic sigh*
I need a coffee.
Well, at least it’s not your front lawn.
I gots to clean my house, I was walking across the carpet and heard a “Hey watch it.” I knew then that my house had gone to far in it’s clutteryness.
Dare I suggest that your dh do it? Cause you’re a really famous author ya know! LOL

As for the lawn, think of it this way: it’s going to seed. That’s good ’cause it’ll reseed itself and save you THAT hassle. And there’s something very zen about the way long grass waves in the wind.
It’s been raining like crazy down here as well. I managed to get the back lawn done earlier this week but the front is looking pretty ragged.

Michelle…no rush hon. I know you are super swamped. And my hubby is out of town right now, so it had to fall to me. I don’t mind doing the mowing though. As long as the rain stops!
