Wow…this is where my blog went.
Hello everyone, I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Christine, and apparently I’ve been MIA for a week. Wondering what happened to me? I’m kind of trying to figure that out myself. See my charming and wonderful husband has been away for eight (yes that’s right), days on business. He was supposed to be home on Friday, but plans changed and now I won’t see him until Monday…NEXT Monday. That’s (counts on fingers) 17 days people!
Of course Tuesday I leave for San Francisco for Nationals…another seven days apart.
This is stressful for us…as a couple in the past 19 years (met him when I was 14…not that old 
) we’ve only been apart longer once.
*great big pathetic sigh*
So, I’ve been busy working, writing and running after my girls. TOTALLY forgot to blog. But I’ll be back a bit more this week. 
On a totally positive note, I just found out that The Bond That Heals Us was blessed with a Joyfully Reviewed Recommended Read for July!!

Gizmo Guy and I used to live like this - GG did a ton of travelling for his job
It’s tough on everyone. I used to say I was the equivalent to a single-mom except I was still married. It was one of the reasons I ended up quitting my job.
LOL I just ranted, um, blogged about my upcoming week - but the upshot is, everyone in my house (well, except Gizmo Guy) is home this week and bugging me senseless. So I’m going to be running away from home and hiding out in quiet spots as much as I can this week.
Ah yeah my hub travels a lot for work, too, though not as much so far this year which is nice. So I feel for you.
I’m stressing out this week preparing for SF and dealing with personal crap. Oh joy, oh fun. LOL
Thank you ladies! It wouldn’t be quite so bad if we’d been a bit more prepared. But I just wasn’t expecting the extra gap. Plus I’ve been trying to get ready for Nationals too, which is hard when I’m doing all this other running around.
Karen, we have to try and meet up!! Wylie and I will be flying in on Tuesday and will be there around supper.
I’m at the beach wondering when was the last time I visited your blog, and where the hell did my mind go?

There’s a lot of bloggers not blogging this summer. I think it’s called…summer.
I’m beginning to think we’re living parallel lives! I was just moaning about John being gone for a little over a week and only getting to see him a few days before I leave for San Fran. And don’t even ask how long I’ve been MIA from my blog…
