Actually, I’m going for a test. I’m only 30 and I have a hard time reading and I get a headache.

Yeah, I was told last time that it could be bifocals for me as well. My eyes are so bad there should be holes in the back of them.

I was a couple of years older than you are now when I checked out the possibility of laser eye surgery. The Dr. said, “Well, even if the surgery corrects your vision, you won’t be glasses free for long, because you’ll need reading glasses, soon.”

I almost hit him. I didn’t get the surgery, but not because of that.

But, I do have a pair of those cheap reading glasses you can buy at book stores in my purse and in just about every room in the house. I mostly need them in dim light. The most embarrassing thing is I often can’t read menus in restaurants any more. It sucks.

But I’m older than you….

I think it’s all the computer work that makes our eyes bad. I wear contacts because I’m extremely nearsighted. I hate the thought of getting bifocals too. But they have smashing glasses these days so get something wild!

I got them too. But I was 40. You’re just old before your time.

But they do come totally invisible now. Lens wise, anyway.

Ah C, that sucks. My sister just did the lineless bifocal and you can’t tell at all… except when she has to hold her head at an odd angle to focus.

But just think of the pretty new frames you get to choose!
