And then the flu hit my household. I didn’t get it (though I’m a bit dizzy this morning), but my daughter and husband did. Poor hubby is sick in bed right now…and that is just a sad sight.
I did manage to get most of the first part of a new story finished. I wanted to have more done, but that’s okay. I know the direction I want to take with the characters and for me that’s half the battle. This one is more of a fantasy and less of a romance, but knowing me, there will be lots of romantic elements. How can I resist?
So the plan for this week is to get most of the story done. I do have a few distractions though. The first is finishing the FANTASTIC Law of Averages, by my friend Wylie. I love this book. Oh man… I really didn’t want to put it down once I’d started reading, but vomit did take priority.
I’m going to finish it tonight and I really can’t wait! If you haven’t read this one yet, check it out!!
It’s hitting our house too - weird time of year for it, but Gizmo Guy had it a couple days ago, and today I’m feeling wonky. Hopefully, the vomiting detail will end soon and you’ll be able to finish it as planned.
Poor hubby. It’s funny cause Boo totally threw up on Saturday morning.
Weird what’s floating around. She is still complaining about sniffles.
Law of Averages rocked the house. I had to read it in one sitting, I couldn’t not read it.
I’ve been taking a minor breather this week from writing as I have a huge cross stitch thing to finish.
What is wrong with me?? Why do I undertake these pyschopathic ventures???
I’m doing a review of ‘Law of Averages’ for my Thursday Thirteen this week. I LOVE it!
Hope you manage to avoid the flu. And hope your hubby and daughter feel better soon.
Good luck with the new story!
Bummer about the flu!! I know of two people in my ’social circle’ (I use that term loosely, being the hermit I am!!) who had it over the weekend.
Glad you’re enjoying Law of Averages! And yes, vomit should take priority
