Home Stretch
Oh I’m getting close people. After an amazing writing session with Amy on Monday night, I’m only about 12k away from the end of my first draft of my urband paranormal. I’m so excited to be getting done, not because I’m not enjoying the process, but because I’m anxious to go back through and add a few more layersto this one. I’ve realized that I need to beef up my sub plot a bit more, and need to work on increasing the emotional relationship between the hero and heroine. The story is told mostly from her point of view, so I need to make sure his body language is sufficent to get his feelings across to her and the reader.
I had a wonderful surprise from my husband this morning…no not that. Get your mind out of the gutter! I’d ordered a CD last week and have been waiting for it to come in (Withint Temptation’s The Heart of Everything). Well, the story hadn’t called and I was thinking this morning as I was making my coffee that I need to call them to see where it is. I get into the car to go to work and what is there playing for me…Within Temptation!
Hubby…I love you.

Glad to hear you’re in the home stretch! I’ve come back from RT full of inspiration and writing like a fiend. I needed that - I’ve been dragging the entire year!

Are you ready for a session tonight. I cracked away another 3k yesterday. Which basically means that I’ve passed the 50k mark. WOOHOO!!!
