Having heard your *cough* sultry *cough* voice, I listened anyway. No fears, you do a good job! As I said to Amy, I am always interested to hear how an author reads her own work, as I’m certain when I’m writing my own that a reader won’t emphasis words where I would and things might be interpreted differently.
You sound more sultry in person – voice recording usually brings the pitch up, I find. At least that’s my story when I hear my Minnie Mouse recorded voice. Your excerpt sounds great! Very clear and nice phrasing.
