Well people, I didn’t make my goal this week. And honestly, for no good reason. I have been sick off and on, but the reason I didn’t write was because of watching Torchwood. I’m all caught up now though and there isn’t a new episode until Wednesday, so I don’t have any excuses. 
I did manage to write over 2000 words, so it wasn’t a total bust. So today, I’m giving my head a hard shake and I plan to jump back into my story with both feet! So I’m kicking my own ass and plan to write 5000 words this week.
How did everyone else make out this week??
My weekly goal was 5,000 words, and so far – I’m still writing today – I’m at 7,432. BUT I broke one of your rules and broke out a second story that I really need to get to since the deadline for submitting it is coming up fast. I need to add about ten thousand words to it, so approx. 5,000 of this week’s 7,000 is for that story.
Next week: Probably going to be busy – I know I’m out tomorrow, and probably Friday. But I’m going to keep my goal at 5,000 for this week anyway.
Damn. I need to see Torchwood. Are you watching on TV or DVD? What channel is it on???

Maureen, I just rewatched season one on DVD and am watching season two on TV. I absolutely love what they’ve done to the characters this season, and I’m super excited about this week’s episode. It looks so dark…

I did pretty good but to be honest, I don’t know my total word count! This past week was an insane whirlwind of running around for my daughter’s birthday and various get togethers. I’m glad it’s over!!!
I hope you feel better. I’m going to give myself a goal of writing 5k this week and (hopefully) sending off a requested partial. We’ll see. LOL
I’m all finished and working on edits plus a new story. I’ve even done a draft synopsis, which I really hate doing. Things are ticking along nicely thanks to your challenge
God I love Torchwood. I made my goal and hit 25k on Wednesday but I haven’t written anything since Wednesday. I’m making my goal 5,000 words again.

I’m pleased to report I’ve managed to keep doing revisions. And I’m going to keep doing them. A simple yet straightforward goal, which feels like landing on a bed of pins and having each one painfully pulled out. But I think I’m beginning to form calluses for this sort of thing.
I got behind on my goals last week too…I had a friend in from out of towmn. I am making a long sheet of “wallpeper” I am going to film it and put it on YouTube but onlyhave about 30 feet so far…want to aim for 50 feet…and a few more ideas.
so today…I need to work a little longer and wwatch a little less tv…been watching a lot of movies lately…not Torchwood although I admit…you and amy have intriqued me now…

I’ve done well this week — got my most recent pass of revisions completed the way I wanted, and I wrote a new short story, too!
I haven’t touched my short story this week – so my second edit was a no go. I did almost finish my short for the erotica submission – so far I’m almost 4000 words into it, which I’m happy with. I want to finish it this week and do those damn edits on the other one, but all have to be done before Friday because we’re having another one of those sister-in-law is coming over for the entire weekend and I need to play hostess…. so to sum it up… no writing will be happening!
I still feel like I’m slogging through sludge and getting nowhere. I’m doing stuff but not making any headway. Like I’m stuck in slo-mo. Where’s my fast forward button?!
