I know I was supposed to prompt you all on Wednesday to give me an update on how you’re making out with your writing…but I forgot. Okay, so I’m not so good at leading the writing challenge LOL!
That said, Sunday is fast approaching, which means your goals should be almost done.
Mine are not there yet…
But I have a new system so that I actually get some writing done in the daytime. It’s called “taking a lunch break”. This is a new concept for me, but it worked really well yesterday. I’m about 2000 words done of my 5000 word goal. I plan to get more written today and lunch and the bulk of it finished tonight.
How are you making out??

Hey C – I added a Countdown to Nationals clock on my sidebar, along with who’s going. Someone, somehow, added a little graffiti next to your name ::shrugs shoulders::
I’m not. I instantly came down with a whopper of a cold. I’ve hand written notes on my outline but sitting up for long enough to do a thousand words isn’t happening. When I finish my tea I’m back to bed.
I’m not as far as I’d like to be but that’s ok. We still have a couple of days right? LOL
Started out great Sunday and Monday, then Tuesday and Wednesday, I didn’t get much done at all — then yesterday I was blessed with a *happy sigh* quiet day and rocked and rolled, so now at least there’s hope of me making my goal by Sunday!
Woohoo TL!! And the rest of us will be able to do it. We just need to buckle down and get going.
Though I have a road block…I think Torchwood is sitting in my mailbox…
Halfway there!!! 2k done since I started, 2k to go for weekly challenge. Going to try to give myself a bigger goal on Sunday.
I’ve done nothing.
Nothing! Unbelievable. Been feeling like crap. Extreme exhaustion that seems to make me stare blankly. Not just at the screen, but around the room. Sigh.
I’d set a weekly goal of 4,000 words – today I hit 6,000 – Woohoo! That’s thanks to two days where I hid out at the library avoiding distractions from phone and family. And got a ton of research done too, along with finding the latest Robert Parker story. Talk about a couple great days.
I roared you on my blog btw.
I wanted to be done by Thursday – but clearly that didn’t happen! Sunday my goal for the week WILL be done… come hell or high water!
I’m so friggin’ determined! Grrrrrrrr! (Don’t ask – I couldn’t explain even if I wanted to.)
Congrats on your roar!
Absolutely well deserved!!!
Sorta finished the 15K quickie and got back on the number one priority but had to re-read it and get re-oriented to the work. Then wrote 3500. 7300 for the week but I have to get more consistent to get it nearly done by mid February.
