I’m sorry I didn’t post sooner today. It was insane at work and I didn’t manage to get up early enough to get a post in before I left. Needless to say, I haven’t done much in the way of writing. I’m actually off to do some now.
Apparently I’ve been double tagged (Michelle and Maureen both got me
) and since I’m still numb from the crazy day I had at work today, this is a perfect post for me! So here we go…
Seven Random Facts About Me.
1. I’ve never been further west in North America than London Ontario.
2. I can drink at least two cups of coffee and then go to bed and get a good night’s sleep.
3. When I was six I spilled a cup of hot coffee all over my chest trying to “help” the grown ups. Ended up in a body dressing for three months.
4. I have serious OCD when it comes to my email. Serious OCD…
5. I’m the oldest of myself and my sister. We are pretty much night and day in personalities.
6. If you’d asked me what I’d wanted to be when I was a kid (age 7-15), I would have told you movie director. Writer would have been second.
7. I like wine. Red wine. LOTS of red wine…
I now have to tag seven people…I think most everyone has been tagged at this point, but I’ll try Red, Amy, Wylie, Vixen, Karen E, Kelly, and Julia.
Curses!!! A tag, drat!!
Coffee in the evening makes me sleepy too, like a warm blanket
I luv red wine, too. What’s not to like?
I knew you were a talented woman but sleeping after two cups of coffee? That’s amazing.
#8. When Christine smiles, she looks just like Starbuck from Battlestar Gallactica (the new version!) It’s just freaky…
LOL! Hey I never thought about that Wylie … she does!! LOL!
Great post!!!
I always have coffee before bed, and my wonderful husband can’t even sleep when he inhales a whiff… but I still always ask him if he wants one when I make my own! Hehe… he stopped laughing at that joke about 6 years ago!
Ohh a taggy….I will do this over the weekend. I am with you on #7
I always love these posts! People always have such fascinating weird things. Since I’m not very normal, per se, I find quirkiness a highly attractive trait in a person. I hear you on the not-much-farther-west thing. And movie director sounds good!! You can always do that when you retire.
Yes….wine good
.
Anna
Ahh, red wine. I love the red wine.
As for the coffee spillage – ack – on our trip over Christmas we stayed overnight in a hotel that had the coffee maker in the room and my youngest (22 months) grabbed it right after it had finished brewing. Scared the crap out of me and I felt awful because I saw dh making it and thought it was a bad idea, but never verbalised it. Poor little guy burned his hand really bad and we were in the States. Thank goodness, we were able to take care of it with a pharmacists help (and, yes, I had bought medical insurance, but still… so scary).
Ooooh, great post Christine. See, I didn’t KNOW all that about you. Now I do and can blackmail, LOL!
I’ll post mine up tomorrow! HUGS!
OCD? What’s that?
Ah tempest that would be obsessive compulsive disorder. The need to check things multiple times even when you “know” they are fine.
And Wylie you’re the second person who says I resemble Starbuck. Maybe it is the smile. LOL!
