Okay so I’d joined Weight Watchers last week. I figured I was going to need some help to survive Christmas and not gain a pile of weight like I do every year.
Well, I’m happy to say I lost a whole pound this week.
May not sound like a lot, but considering I had two Christmas parties, I’m just thrilled I wasn’t up anything. It will also motivate me for kickboxing tonight. If I put a bit more effort tonight and Thursday, maybe I’ll loose a bit more weight this week.
I’ll keep you posted.
On another note, I was so tempted to do some writing last night. In fact, I think I wrote a paragraph or two on a new story. I got it out of my system, saved it and put it away. *slaps her own writs*
I think what I’m going to do instead tonight is watch season two of Dexter and write a few blog enteries. That way I’m organized ahead of when things are due. Trust me, this is a new concept for me LOL!
Congratulations on the WW. I think it’s magic. I lost twenty lbs earlier this year but I still have more of my prepaid coupons that I’ll use after Christmas to get another fifteen I still have to lose.
I’ve been BAD!! I’m trying to be good and keep on WW … it’s not working.

Thanks for the encouraging words! I hope WW is going splendidly. I stayed at the dorm for a few extra days so (hopefully) much of the holiday food would be eaten by the time I went home.
By “season 2 of dexter” do you mean Dexter’s Laboratory from Cartoon Network or something completely different? Please forgive my not knowing – just curious. Thanks again!
Oh Bri, Dexter is a Showtime show about a serial killer who targets other serial killers/bad guys…plus he’s a cop. Brilliantly acted and written. Highly recommend it!! You can check out the show information on http://www.imdb.com.

Yes, they still do the points, Joely. That’s actually what I’m doing right now. I’m actually with in my ideal weight range, just at the top end. My goal is to lose 10 lbs and tone up so that I’m looking good for Nationals this summer.
