Somedays I don’t like my day job
Not because I don’t like my day job, but because I really was into this scene this morning and now I have to get ready for work.
*sigh*
I wanted to thank those of you who popped over to The Romance Studio’s blog yesterday to say hi. I really appreciate it.
I’ve been continuing to work on Taber’s story as I’ve been getting my edits done on Wizard’s Thief, my February release and on The Bond That Heals Us, which is Sara’s story. Thief is done now and ready to go. I have to say I’m anxious to see what the covers for the Jewel of the Nile series are going to look like. I guess I won’t have to wait too long. I haven’t started my edits on Heals yet, but I should get them out the door this week.
And then there is Taber. Poor boy is currently tied up and is trying to get out of a sticky situation. I guess he’ll have to wait around until lunch hour to find out how much more of a punishment he’s going to have to take.
I also wanted to remind everyone that there is still two days left to enter my November newsletter contest. If you sign up by December 1st, you will be automatically entered into a draw to win a passion starter kit and a free e-copy of Sweet and Spicy Spells. All you need to keep you warm on a winter’s night.

I hear ya! I so want to take the entire month of December off and just work on my Brimstone edits so I can get this out the door.

C - I’m so sorry I didn’t make it to RS yesterday! Tuesday is my crazy-busy, go-all-day day and not only did I completely forget
when I finally sat down at 9pm, all I had the energy for was House.
*hangs head in bad-friend shame*

I hate being torn away from a scene, I’m so sorry you had to. I can’t wait for Taber. And I can’t wait to see the Jewel of the Nile covers either. I’m really anxious!

I’m anxious to see Heals cover to see if it’s as hot as Bonds.

Holy Smokes! I can’t imagine what you’d get done if you didn’t have the day job. You’re an inspiration, for sure!

I’m looking forward to the Jewel covers, too, since I’ve just sold one.
Despite the day job you seem to be very productive.

First off, woo hoo!!! on finishing NaNo. I planned on stopping by Friday and learn you pulled it off with time to spare. I am seriously impressed and want to know how you do it, holding down a full time job, too. Wow!
And you could’ve knocked me over when I read the Jewel of the Nile series. Is that the name of your new series? That was the title of the story I sold to Cobblestone. Cobblestone wanted to change the title and so it’s now Heart of the Nile, release date still unknown. Too funny. Glad we avoided that repetition, but then again great minds think alike.
