This next week is going to be an interesting one. I’ll be starting my new job tomorrow, so that means I won’t be online until later in the day. In fact, there are a lot of things that will be changing for me. Nothing major, but it will require me to adjust my writing/posting schedule a bit.
I didn’t do anything on the writing front last week. I only plan on doing a bit of planning out for NaNoWriMo this week, and maybe a paragraph or two here and there if I find the time. It’s going to be hard for me to write in my temporary accommodations, as there isn’t a lot of personal space. Four people in an apartment with two bedrooms doesn’t give a lot of breathing room. But it’s all good.
I did my final line edits for Sweet and Spicy Spells, so I’m anxious for that to come out next week. This one seems to have snuck up on my from a marketing perspective, so the word isn’t out there as well as my other. Let people know!! HUGS!
So goals for this week:
- plot out most of book for NaNo
- finish reading Amy’s book
- get newsletters ready
- rest
I think once I have a week in for my new position, I’ll have a better idea as to how much time I’m going to have to write. I think it will just mean I’ll be up earlier and staying up later. I have a feeling I’m going to lose my lunch hour writing time.
What are you up to this week?
I, for one, will be here waiting for whatever you have time for. Glad you made it safely.
Best of luck with the new position! All the writing stuff will work itself out once life settles down. Hugs!
Glad you arrived safely. Once you get settled in I’m sure you’ll be able to work out a writing schedule.
I’m trying to finish up the rough draft of my short contemporary before the end of the month. So even if I don’t do Nano, I can use it as an incentive to get lots of writing done.
The last one is very important. Rest… a lot! So today is your first day at your new job, eh? Hope things go smoothly.
As for my week, I have to write my free story for Halloween by Friday. But things have been pretty hectic around here so I’ll need a lot of whip cracking to get me to have it on time.
Hey Christine,
Rest is very important, I can’t imagine how beat I’d be. Goodluck on this, your first new work week sweetie.
This week I hope to advance on ANY of the WIP’s I have on my desk and work on my edits (yep, still on my plate, LOL!)
Oh my gosh, I posted the same type of thing on my blog today. lol Must be a Monday thing. Good luck at work and I hope you find some space of your own soon.
Man, there’s nothing like trying to juggle a day job and a serious writing goal at the same time.
Especially a new day job… oye!
I haven’t a clue how you’ve just survived a move and yet can still plan for NaNo. I have a hard enough time juggling my family with my writing on a regular day! You must be one organized gal!
