Anyone else a Renn and Stimpy fan?!?
I’m so happy it’s Friday and that it’s a long weekend here in Canada. Thanksgiving is one of my favourite long weekends. Turkey and stuffing and squash and pumpkin pie….
*drool*
I’ll be going away for Saturday and part of Sunday, but I’m hoping to get a little bit of writing done. I might have to do it long hand, but that’s okay too. It might help me with my mini block with this novella. I really just need to be butt in chair and finish it up, so being someplace with no Internet may not be a bad thing.
So what are your plans for the weekend?
Me I like Ren and Stimpy. I haven’t seen them in a long time. STimpy YOU EIDIOT. Of course I know how to spell, I was doing an accent as I was typing.
Well, besides nursing Boo through her bladder/kidney infection I’ll be having two thanksgiving dinners, one at home and one at my parents. I am looking forward to relaxing.
Hurry up on that Novella woman!!!
Relaxing…what is this word you speak of??
And enjoy the two dinners. I’m going to limit myself to one, but my MIL is cooking, so it will be gooooood!
I’m working on that novella!!
Long weekend, yeeeeeeeeey! I plan to do some catching up this weekend. But I’d take a long weekend, too, LOL.
Well relaxing for me is staying at home and not travelling but I have laundry, purging (still working on it), clean the rugs, clean the windows, vaccum. Oy, not that it’s relaxing is just … you know I don’t have any idea what I am talking about. Forget I every said anything.
Long Weekend good.
We’re having a family dinner over at my cousin’s – mmm!! It’s so nice out, I’m sure I’ll spend part of the long weekend in the garden.
Wait – Ren and Stimpy – yes!! A favorite line from that: when Ren was going mad in space and said, ‘Back off, man!’ while wielding a toothbrush. Brad and I say that one a lot. Also, ‘Stiiinnnkkkyyy! Oh, Stiiinnnkkkyyy…’
Thanks to The Attack, no thanksgiving feast for poor Wylie
(altogether now: AWWWW…)
But I shall think of you all stuffing yourselves with scrumptiousness as I sip my clear broth and savor my non-salted, non-buttered steamed veggies. :p
Maybe I’ll open a can of tuna, really shake things up.
ho hum
I went to Bowling Green State University in northwestern Ohio, about 1 1/2 hours from Windsor, and we had many Canadian students. Every October they’d randomly disappear
Hope you have a great long weekend!
Family dinner at Mom’s where I eat so much I can’t move.
You’re making me yearn for American Thanksgiving, and it’s still almost a month and a half away! Enjoy your long weekend!
Happy TG Chris. Enjoy the turkey, stuffing and gravy. Don’t sweat the writing challenge, free write and let it flow along with the wine.
