Moving at the speed of ohmygod
What a crazy, insane weekend. First off, we bought a house. We saw fourteen houses on Friday and out of all of those there were only two we liked. By the time we got around to making an offer there was only one of those left. Thankfully it was the house we wanted. We are super thrilled.
On the plane I got to read most of Lover Unbound. I’m not quite done yet (I’m reading fast Amy!!) and should be finished either tonight or tomorrow at the latest. OMG what a fantastic book so far.
Last week I managed to write about twelve pages on my novella and fixed a major problem with it. I’m hoping to get it finished this week so I can do some poking around in my paranormal. I had a dream about the plot last night, and was still thinking about it in the shower this morning. I really need to get to it soon. The wheels are starting to turn over time.
So I want to set my goals for this week.
- Finish the novella - approximately 10,000 words
- Plot out paranormal
I think with everything else going on, that will keep me busy.
What is everyone else up to?

Congratulations on the house Christine! And yey on your JR Ward! I haven’t written ZIP; I guess that’s my only goal for the week. Settle down and write, LOL! Goodluck on the novella, I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Hugs and have a great week, Christine.

14 houses in one day? What a marathon, chica! Heh! But congrats on finally getting the house! Woohoo! Good luck with the writing goals! Sheeshh… I should start writing something for the Romance Divas’ October Story Challenge.

Yay on the house and yay on LU. I’m so chomping at the bit to discuss it with you.
What did I do beside birthday parties? I actually started my book that I have in mind for the Shomi line. I am very excited. The idea hit on my way up to my in laws and I wrote (long hand as computer was at home) sixteen pages! Woot. Very happy about that. I hope to get my 80k done by April 2008.

Yay on getting the house! And I like the ’speed of ohmygod’! Too funny.
As for what I’m up to - finishing this @#$% manuscript so I can hand it off to Pam and Julianne before our next RWAC meeting and then off to the GH it goes.

It’s status quo over here this week… Nothing exciting.

WooHoo on buying a new house! You really move fast, don’t you? Hope you and your family will be very happy there.
I’m chugging away at my wannabe Desire, past the half-way mark and hoping to finish it up by the end of the month. Now, if only some of your manic energy would waft my way

Congrats on the house! I can’t wait to meet you in person. How on earth can you write while trying to do all that’s involved in a move - especially for such a long distance move! I’m in awe! Everytime we move, I vow I will NEVER EVER move again. Hah!
No, seriously, I’m not moving again! I spent the weekend moving furniture in the basement so we could lay a new carpet and that was exhausting enough.

Congrats on the new house!! Gonna miss seeing you at the meetings, but glad things are falling into place for you regarding the move.

Wowie, congratulations on the new house! Sounds like things are wild and crazy right now, but in a very good way! I’m happy for you!
And what the HECK is it about standing in the shower that brings good ideas, LOL? Same here! I get some of my best ideas there.
I’ve been working on a short story, albeit at a leisurely pace. I’m gearing up for NaNo and the second round of Sweat, so I’m taking it comparatively easy! Great job on the twelve pages!

Congrats on the house. Fourteen in one day sounds like plain hard work!
Great stuff on the writing.
