I’m back fresh from my night of writing. I’m super excited that I was able to finish up Wizard’s Thief. My goals for today are:
- mail submission to agent
- do edits/read through of Wizard’s Thief
- try and add 800 words to The Bond That Heals Us

I’m back fresh from my night of writing. I’m super excited that I was able to finish up Wizard’s Thief. My goals for today are:
As my husband would say, “I’m so le tired”!
It’s almost midnight, but I can happily report that I have finished Wizard’s Thief!! I managed to write just over 9000 words in a day and a half. Tomorrow I plan on tackling the edits and any necessary clean up. Let’s hope it doesn’t need too much surgery.
Woohoo!! The Bond That Ties Us got a four rose review from My Book Cravings. Thanks to Robin S for the wonderful comments. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

Okay, I’m officially dubbing this Crazy Writing Week. I’m looking forward to getting lots accomplished. Last night, I wrote for four hours and managed to get a huge chunk , about 3000 words, done on Wizard’s Thief (I really need to get a better name for it). I have less than 8000 words to go and plan to get another huge bit done today.
But before I can do any writing today, I have to print off a submission for an agent. Once I get that done and in the mail, I’m going to lock myself in a room and write. Or maybe outside on the deck, as it’s nice out. I’ll give you all an update on how I’m doing later tonight.
Brace for the insantiy.
I’m back from vacation and ready to buckle down and do some serious writing (right after I mow the lawn and buy groceries
)!
It seems like it’s been forever since I’ve listed any goals. I haven’t been slacking, honest!! The Bond That Heals Us is done and about 800 words shy of my 70,000 word goal. I plan on adding one additonal scene and that should push it over the cusp.
I’m very lucky that I have this week off. I plan on writing eight hours a day (crazy I know) and try to make as much headway on all of the writing projects that I have out there on the go right now. So I’m going to be setting some lofty goals for myself this week.
I’ve also been plotting out Taber’s story for those of you who are interested. I’ve settled on a title too…The Bond That Consumes Us.
If and only if I get everything else done, I might sit down and write out chapter one. Problem is, once I start on Taber everything else is going to get pushed aside. I’m loving his plot already…
