First off…I sold my house…again!! Only this time the financing is all approved. Now we just have to wait for the home inspection and water test (which I know are fine) and it’s a done deal! I’m so happy because I’m going to be buying a new house this weekend. I’ll keep you posted.
And finally, I was able to make progress on my novella yesterday. And thanks to my very good friend Red, I think I solved what was bugging me about the story. Totally a character motivation thing. I’m going to try and clean it up today to see if it makes a difference.
Tonight on TV we have the premiere of The Bionic Woman and Criminal Minds. I think I’m going to record Criminal Minds and give BW a chance. I hope beyond hope it doesn’t suck. I used to love the original when I was a kid…
Second…OMG House!! I love that show! I love any show that can make me laugh out loud many times, and then turn around and almost make me cry. The writers on that show are brilliant.
I was also able to pick up J.R Ward’s Lover Unbound. I started reading it last night and am already drooling. But I think I might hold off reading anymore until Friday when I’m flying to ON. I need something to preoccupy myself on the plane.
I’ve also posted some Hump Day Hunks over at Six Degrees of Sexy. Come check them out!
Yeah!! on getting your house sold. Watched House last night and looking forward to CSI tonight.
Missed both House and reading LU as I was fast asleep. My cold is so bad I’m officially calling myself SICK. bleh.
Back to bed for me.
btw- hubby gave me the run-down on House. Sounded brilliant. I’m sorry I missed it. I agree, the writers on that show ROCK.
“House” was SO missing its usual style without the Baby Houses. Although the mass interview thing next week could be amusing. I heart Robert Sean Leonard.
Carrie I do too!! I was howling when he kidnapped the guitar. The baby Houses will be back. I can’t wait to see how they do it.
HUGS Wylie!! I hope you are feeling better soon, hon.
Anne, I’m waiting for CSI too, but Vegas not NY. I like NY but I never seemed to catch it and now I’m so far behind I’m going to not bother. I’m sure I’ll get them all on DVD someday.
OMG! Woohoo on selling your house! Did you get to buy the new house this weekend? C’mon, details.
CONGRATS ON THE HOUSE!!! Yahoo!! When do we start packing??? And I can’t wait to sink my teeth into LOVER UNBOUND. Christine, I haven’t seen house – please don’t stop being my friend, LOL. I’ll start on it pronto!
Tempest, I’m going up this weekend to buy a house. I have few requirements…a tub that I can stretch out in when I have a bath is the big one. I’ll take a picture!!
Wow, congratulations both on selling your old house and buying a new one! Sounds very exciting! And that’s great news, too, about your progress on your novella.
Yay, yay, yay on selling your house! And hope you have fun house hunting. Somewhere, a long bathtub is waiting with your name on it. Good to hear about your novella motoring along.
Have fun house hunting this weekend. I love house hunting. I’m on MLS all the time. It’s a weird hobby of mine, I like seeing houses for sale … in fact … I’m going to go look now since Boo and Sumo are sleeping off the chocolate cake my Mother made for them. I am so excited you’re coming back SO EXCITED.
Congrats on selling your house! Have fun looking for a new one.
I’m looking forward to checking out The Bionic Woman. I watched the original. I expect this one to be much darker and more realistic.
Lover Unbound…I was up until almost 2 in the morning because I had to finish it before I went to sleep. LOL I love that series.
House! Awesome in both references!!
Love Unbound arrived on my doorstep yesterday. Needless to say I’m a very happy girl. The best part is Manroot and ‘lil Manroot are leaving for a few days so I can actually read it!
I’m such a dork. I read your post yesterday about having sold the house for real and then got caught up in Mom stuff and forgot to offer my congratulations!!
With so many of my favorite bloggers in such a relatively small geographic area, we might need to come up with a reason for me to visit and finally meet you guys already!
Thanks Susan! And yes, there are lots of us up here. I smell a road trip!!
