Houses and stories and day jobs…Oh My!
As you know I was very excited on Friday thinking I sold my house…well it didnt’ go through. The people who wanted it couldn’t get their financing from the bank, so we’re back at the beginning. We still have the conditional offer and there is apparently another offer coming, but they are going to the bank first to find out if they will get the loan.
Finger crossing still required.
I haven’t settled on any one story to work on at the moment. I think on the weekend I worked on three seperate ones, never writing more than a page or so on them. Part of me knows it’s because there is so much going on, but I really need to get back into a writing groove.
So should I write:
- Time traveling Duke
- Taber’s story (Bond that Consumes Us)
- Urban paranormal
- Contemporary novella
Vote please! I need help.
I plan to do NaNoWriMo this year, so that will help me focus too.
I’m also in the throws of trying to wrap up one job before I move on to the next one. Lots of things on my plate at work, but nothing I can’t handle.
As my mother said, “If you want something done, give it to a busy person.”

Crossing fingers on the house for you, Christine. And all 4 ms sound yum. I’ve always been intrigued by the time travelling Duke . . . but I am ACHING for Taber’s story, too! The other 2 sound wonderful as well, Christine. Though I know what you mean, with so much going on it’s hard to concentrate. But you can do it!! Cheerleading here. *pom pom, swish!*

Sorry the house thing didn’t go through. Having recently just gone through the whole ordeal, I feel your pain. Fingers crossed!
And I want to read about a time travelling duke!

Fingers crossed that the house goes through soon. I find the whole house selling/buying/moving thing incredibly stressful, which is why I’m refusing to move again. Luckily hubby agrees.
I’m with the others. The time traveling duke sounds interesting but I also vote for the Urban paranormal. I just love urban fantasy.

Fingers crossed for the house! I did that earlier this year. It’s definitely stressful, but it can make for great writing energy.
I’m voting for the time travelling duke too!!

I sympathize on the house. We had a couple of deals fall through - including one where the buyer was already pre-approved. It was SOOO frustrating! I wish you a quick and profitable sale of your home.
My vote is for the Contemporary Novella.
I’ll be participating in NaNoWriMo again this year. Last year I’d mentally given up by the fourth day. This year I am ready to completely kick arse.

Hope those new buyers get the thumbs up from the bank.
All your projects sound good. Work on the one that excites you most. Or the one that’s furthest along. Finishing a new project will make you feel gungho for NANO.

Hope this one goes through for you. I am waiting for my hug.
Hmmm, I say TABER’S STORY, but you know how much I love your Bonds books.
LOL about your mother’s saying. I haven’t been able to write anything in over a week. Not since the 70 Days challenge ended. *sigh*
I vote for Taber or the Time Travelling Duke.

Bummer about the house sale, but these things do happen… still, it’s sucky. Hope the conditional offer soars!
My vote is for the Urban Paranormal.
