One Hundred Things Meme
I’ve been a bad blogger for meme’s the last little while. I’ve missed a bunch and I’m going to try and go back to get them done. Julia just tagged me with this 100 question meme. Because I’m brain dead at the moment, I thought I’d go for it. If you want to play along, grab the questions and let me know you’re doing it!
1. Slept naked? A few times…
2. Taken a shower with someone? A few times…
3. Kissed a member of the same sex? Yes, but it was a cheek thing.
4. Driven a car? I love to drive, and do it everyday.
5. Stolen anything? I “borrowed” a notepad from work once.
6. Been in love? Of course, and I still am. My husband is the love of my life. We’ve been together for eighteen years, and married for eleven.
7. Been dumped? Only once, my one boyfriend before I met my husband.
8. Stole money from a family member? Nope.
9. Gotten in a car with people you just met? Yes, but she became a good friend of the family, so it’s all good.
10. Been in a fist fight? No, I’m more of a passive aggressive person. J
11. Snuck out of your/someone’s house? Nope.
12. Had feelings for someone who didn’t have them back? Yes, I don’t know why Gerard Butler won’t return my calls.
13. Been arrested? Not yet…
14. Hugged a stranger? Sure! I’m a firm believe in random hugs and acts of kindness.
15. Met up with a member of the opposite sex somewhere? Sure, I’d met my husband places all the time. J
16. Left your house without telling your parents? Nope, I wouldn’t do that to them.
17. Had a crush on your neighbour? No, my neighbours were usually older…way older…and women…
18. Ditched school to do something more fun? Are my parents reading this?? Yes, I did. J
19. Slept in a bed with a member of the opposite sex? Of course, but only with my husband.
20. Lost a friend in a shop? No, but I think I’ve been ditched a few times.
21. Been on a plane? Yes. I’ve flown from

23. Slept in until 3? Ah those were the days. Back before I had children I had a few sleep ins like that.
24. Miss someone right now? My parents.
25. Laid on your back and watched cloud shapes go by? Yes, and this is more fun to do with my girls.
26. Made a snow angel? Every winter. J
27. Played dress up? Every Halloween
28. Cheated while playing a game? Not since I was a little kid.
29. Been lonely? I’m lonely whenever I have to travel by myself.
30. Kissed more than 4 people in one night? Nope.
31. Touched a snake? Yes and it was much softer than I was expecting.
32. Ran a red light? Nope.
33. Been suspended from school? Lord no, I was pretty vanilla in school.
34. Had detention? Nope.
35. Been in a car accident? Yes, three. I was driving once and a passenger twice. I was rear-ended twice, once two weeks after buying my first car and once on my way to my wedding rehearsal. The other accident my husband and I hit some black ice and spun into a ditch. We weren’t hurt but our SUV was toast.
36. Used a fake id? Didn’t need to. I looked twenty-five when I was seventeen.
37. Crawled through a window? Nope.
38. Been lost? I’m directionally challenged. But funny enough give me a map and I can give great directions to a driver. My husband and I work well together.
39. Been to the opposite side of the country? Nope. The furthest west I’ve been in
40. Cried yourself to sleep? Sure, but not in a long time.
41. Done something you told yourself you wouldn’t? A few times. But man I had fun. J
42. Laughed until something you were drinking came out your nose? LOL Sure!
43. Caught a snowflake on your tongue? Every winter.
44. Kissed in the rain? Of course!
45. Sang in the shower? Daily. My children beg me to stop.
46. Had sex in a park? Yes…
47. Had a dream that you married someone? Married no…had a hot torrid romance, oh yeah!
48. Glued your hand to something? Paper…helping my children.
49. Got your tongue stuck to a flag pole? I’m Canadian…
50. Ever gone to school partially naked? LOL No, too paranoid.
51. Been a cheerleader? Nope, I was more of a drama person.
52. Had more than ten boyfriends? Nope, only two.
53. Didn’t take a shower for a week? Can’t do it. I bath or shower every day.
54. Ever too scared to watch scary movies alone? Yes. I was trying to watch The Exorcist alone when my oldest daughter was a baby. She started moaning through the baby monitor during a creepy part in the movie and that was it. To this day I haven’t seen the end of the movie.
55. Played chicken? I am a chicken.
56. Been pushed into a pool with all your clothes? Nope, but I’m game!
57. Been told you’re hot by a complete stranger? Sadly, no.
58. Broken a bone? I broke my first bone three years ago. My big left toe.
59. Been easily amused? Daily.
60. Laugh so hard you cry? Weekly.
61. Mooned/flashed someone? Just my husband. J
62. Cheated on a test? Grade five French history test. Felt so guilty I never did it again.
63. Forgotten someone’s name? Daily. I tell people up front I’m bad with names and will default to calling them Bob if I don’t remember it.
64. Done something dumb while drunk? Oh the stories I could share…
65. Blacked out from drinking? Never. I never drink without my husband around and he keeps me in line.
66. Played a prank on someone? I try to prank my husband, but I’ve never managed to do it.
67. Gone to a late night movie? Oh yeah! I saw a midnight private screening of Star Wars 2. It was a lot of fun.
68. Made love to anything not human? Ewwwww No!
69. Failed a class? Nope, I was a geek.
70. Choked on something you’re not supposed to eat? A marble when I was five. Almost died.
71. Smoked pot? Nope.
72. Cheated on a boyfriend? Nope.
73. Celebrate the 4th of July? Only when we lived in
74. Thrown strange objects? I’ve thrown candy at my students. Keeps them awake.
75. Felt like killing someone? Oh the stories I could tell you…
76. Thought about running away? Once when I was seven. My mom told me to stop being silly and take my things back upstairs. So I did.
77. Got a piercing? My ears are pierced twice, and I had a belly button ring. I had to take it out when I went for an operation and wasn’t able to get it back in. I need to get that redone.
78. Made a parent cry? My dad on my wedding day.
79. Cried over someone? My daughters when they were born.
80. Kept somebody else’s clothes you borrowed? Nope.
81. Dated someone more than once? I only really dated my husband. Never got rid of him. J
82. Have a dog? I’m a cat lady.
83. Been in a band? I was part of a wandering minstrel band at a place called Kings Landing. Sang and played guitar.
84. Drank 25 sodas in a day? Soda no, coffee yes.
85. Broken a CD? Yes.
86. Shot a gun? Yes…didn’t hit the target.
87. Wanted someone but could never have them? Gerard Butler…
88. Have you ever been fired from a job? Yes. It was a weird situation and to be honest, I’m glad it happened.
89. Do you like a clear blue sky, or one with big fluffy clouds? Clouds.
90. Have you ever strongly identified with a different country/culture than your own?
91. If you were a musical instrument, which one would you be? Guitar - I’m usually mellow, but can change my style depending on my mood.
92. Have you ever been sailing? No, but I’d love to go.
93. Have you moved around a lot, or stayed in one area? Until I was twenty-seven I’d stayed pretty much in the same spot. But since then, I’ve moved around a lot. I’m ready to stop after this next move.
94. Were you ever escorted home by police? No, but I was at a party that had the police show up with the wagon. We weren’t actually doing anything and no one was escorted away.
95. Have you ever had an idea for which you considered getting a patent? Yes, but it turned out to have already been suggested.
96. In what sort of dwelling do you reside? Split entry house.
97. What is your birth order? I’m the oldest. There is only my sister and myself and we’re pretty much night and day.
98. Have you ever lived through a natural disaster or a major man-made crisis? I was in
99. Have you ever been resuscitated by medical staff? No, but I’ve had six operations.
100. Did you ever wish you could time travel? I have a crush on Doctor Who since I was ten. I’d love to go time travel with him.

Christine, OMG, what a great meme! Six operations? Time traveling with Doctor Who? 25 coffees a day? And I thought I was crazy . . . LOL! Love you.
