This has been one crazy ride. I can’t believe everything that’s happened in only five days. First off, I sold my house!!! What I’m not sure yet is to who LOL! We had one conditional offer on Tuesday, and then last night we got a second offer, non conditional. Now we are waiting for the first couple to come back and tell us if they can drop the condition or not. Either way, I have a sale. It’s like this huge weight has been lifted and now I can move forward. We’ll be going on our house hunting trip next weekend, so I’ll be able to buy a house without condition.
My good friend and fellow Six Degree of Sexy author Amy got her very first cover from Ellora’s Cave last night! OMG you have to see it, it’s beautiful!! Congratulations Amy, you deserve this!
With everything that has been going on, I’ve been a bad blogging friend this week. While I’ve been posting, I haven’t done a lot of visiting. I’m very sorry about that. I’ll try and make the rounds a bit better next week.
On the writing front…well I did a little bit of writing on Monday, but I haven’t touched my keyboard since then. Not that I haven’t wanted to, but there’s been so much going on I haven’t had the time. I hope to be able to get around to getting some done this weekend. I was making progress with my urban paranormal so I want to get back to it before I lose the momentum.
What do you have planned for this weekend?
Congrats on the house sale. Wow! Where did that come from? Hope ou have a place in mind to move to. For some reason Dh & I always sold and had to move in w/ my parents for 6 months before we found a new place. Highly do not recommend this approach.
Good luck and happy new home hunting!
Congratulations on selling your house so fast!! And good luck with your house hunt.
Some weeks are crazy, so don’t worry about not getting to write. I find I usually make up for things once I do get back to the computer. I’m sure it’ll be the same with you.
Heading out, again, for the weekend. We’ve been home a total of 3 weekends since the end of July. No wonder I’m cranky!!
What? No writing done? Tsk, tsk, tsk… bad girl.
Just found out it was the sure deal that went through and not the conditional offer. So officially my house is sold! I love the house hunting part, especially now that the pressure is gone.
I know Tempest, I’ve been bad. I was too busy looking at abs this week. ;D
Congrats on the house sale. I am so looking forward to you coming back!! YIPPEEEEEEE!
Congrats, Christine!! WOOT WOOT
And good luck house hunting!
You’ve been missed in blogland – but we understand
In fact, no pressure for the next couple of weeks, kay?
Then we’ll expect you back for regular visits!
Congrats on the house sale – that must be a HUGE weight off your mind to be able to go in firm when you find a new house. I’m surprised you’re getting any writing done at all so way to go on Monday’s effort. And don’t worry about the blog hops. We’ll drop by anyway!
Wow!! That is awesome! Congrats! It took us a year to sell our last house-what a pain! So glad this went easy for you!
That’s great news about the house!!
I’m going to be editing all weekend, polishing a book to send off to my agent.
When my gram finally felt ready to leave her house in Yarmouth, my mom had it sold and a new house bought in a matter of two weeks. We’ve always felt that for the move to go that smoothly, it was meant to be. It must be the same for you too, Christine. Congratulations.
This weekend I’m going to a baby shower, to see ‘Shoot ‘em Up’, and to Word on the Street.
Congrats on the house, Christine!! Wahoo!! And Amy’s cover ROCKS, it’s awesome! =)
Wow, great news about the house!
This weekend, I’m going to work on short stories for short-story writing month as sort of a decompression from Seventy Days of Sweat.
And hubby and I are doing outdoorsy, housy things — we are loving the fall weather!
Happy Weekend to you, and good luck house hunting!
I thought you might be bored, so I tagged you for a meme.
