So today is my first day back at the EDJ. Things are crazy (which I was expecting), but it’s nice to get back into the routine.
My writing went well towards the end of the week, though I’m still not able to focus on any one project. In fact, I’ve gone back to an old manuscript that I thought I would just let die. It may not be as bad as I thought at first, so I’m going to see if I can clean it up. And by clean it up, I mean spice it up! I’ll keep you posted.
I hope you all watched Test The Nation: Watch Your Language last night. My husband took the test and beat me by one (curses!!). For those of you who were curious, I got 56 out of 70 right, or 80%.
I’m going to try and visit everyone’s site today, but I might be slow…
How was your weekend?!?
How fun Christine! Wish I could’ve seen you on TV . . . =) Goodluck “cleaning” up that ms, hehehe!
I saw you front and center last night – ok, front and off to the side. By Wiley, right? And I saw Amy a few rows back. I took the test too, and got 59/70 – 84%. I have to admit, I started the quiz awfully smugly, then started sweating when ‘Vancouver special’ wasn’t a joint. Little Miss Muffet’s tuffet – a cushion or a stool? A cushion or a stool? I’m having Test the Nation flashbacks…
ROFL Julia! You kicked my butt. We could have used you on the team
Good luck with your old/new manuscript
It was fun watching it back! Seems like so long ago…
I did 59 right. I’m STILL kicking myself over the 2 questions that I KNEW, but stupidly pressed the wrong button. Every dog has ITS day…
I’m such a moron.
Our team didn’t get as much love as the other side of the room, wouldn’t you agree? I was personally rather grateful, but my son kept asking – “Mommy, when are they going to show you again?”
hehehehehehehe
My daughter saw the first 15 mins and got to see me. she was so excited.
And I agree, they really didn’t give us much love. However, we still held out own!!
My daughter kept asking where I was. I saw myself a couple of times and went EEK!!! I emailed to aske what my score was never heard. I think I did ok, most I knew. Except Prairie Oyster which Karen told me what it was. I never knew it was a calf’s testicle.
We did awesome I think. It was a blast. I screeched when I saw you and Wylie.
I can’t believe I missed Test the Nation after we spent the afternoon talking about it! I got home and stacked the last of my wood and then crawled up to the tub to soak. I kept thinking “I feel like I’m supposed to be doing something…” Argh! Any chance you taped it??
I don’t have a copy yet, but I’ll try and get one. If I do, I’ll pass it along.
Love House. I really like that they don’t redeem him.
And your post on time management gave me some good points to incorporate on planning my weekly goals.
