Sometimes things just happen…
Our van was having issues over the past little while. Well, on our trip it died and not in a good way. So today my husband and I went off and bought ourselves a new car. This is the first new car I’ve gotten in six years, so it was exciting. So in two hours I’ll be picking up my new, 2008 Toyota Corolla. I’m excited to have a new car, not so happy about having a car payment. But such is life. At least it’s safe, which my van really wasn’t.
And it has air conditioning!! I’m really happy about that.
Bad news: car payment. Good news: sayonara, non-working-van.
Drive it in good health, Christine!
We’ve had a Toyota for years and it’s been great. Barely any problems.
Aside from making the surprise car purchase, I hope you’re thoroughly enjoying your vacation!
Hey hope you post a photo of your car…I’m trying to remember to watch your tv appearances, I keep seeing commercials for it since I’ve been back in Cananda..
Here is my TT list:

Have fun with your new car. The air conditioning will come in handy today.
Hey – congrats on the NEW CAR! I had a Corolla when I was first married and it was a gem.
Amen on the a/c!
AC is ALWAYS a good thing.
Sorry about the van (and the payment
), but it sounds like you got a car you really like.
Sorry about the van. But yay!! on the Corolla. We drive a Toyota. Love it!
Yey, new car!!! Yahoo! I love the smell of new cars…it’s yum. You’re going to love it, Christine!!
And today ML is finishing my new site!! Tell me what you think, sweetie! I think she did a fantastic job, and thank you for the recommendation!
I don’t understand that blog yet but I’ll try to post something later when she “explains” LOL! =)
I am currently reading the Bonds that Heal Us and enjoying it thoroughly!!!
I need a new car, big time, a van to be specific. Kids and those car seats. OY.
*shudders*
I’m terrified about having to buy a new car – both ours are 11 years old and hanging in there, but we can’t afford a new used one, let alone brand new one. Hope it serves you well. (Do you name your cars?)
Ohhh, air conditioning !! It’s been well over 100 here for days, so I can’t imagine a car with no a/c. Congrats on the new ride!
Congrats on the new wheels.
I’m dreading the day my car dies for good and I need to add a car payment back into the budget.
Wow, not just new to you, but brand spankin’ new! Congrats.
