Quick Post

Hi there.

Well I only have time for a quick post today. I’m away on a business trip and my EDJ is keeping me pretty busy. I managed to plot out an entire new series while I was on the plane. I have not only the characters and main plot for book one, but the entire backstory and big plot that will carry over from book to book. I’m really excited about this one and will be starting it as soon as I get The Bond That Heals Us cleaned up and sent off to my editor.

I have a longer poster over at Six Degrees of Sexy this morning on where author’s get their ideas. Come on over and say hi!

  • LOL How long was that plane ride?? You have the best time management skills of anyone I know. I tell you, if you ever teach a course in it, I’m there!

Anyway, hope the trip is going well! :-)

  • OOooh, great trip! =) I need me one of those inspiring ones, lol.

  • Holy crap, maybe I need to take a plane trip more often.

  • Talk about productive! I usually panic myself silly on plane rides to the point I can’t breathe, let alone write.

  • WOW – that’s so impressive! I agree with Amy – I need a plane trip – NOW. :D I’m always too distracted on a plane. How did all of that come to you? Amazing – whoorah!

  • See on the plane I’m a nervous wreck. I need something to distract myself into not thinking about the fact that I’m so high off the ground. :D I usually either read or write.

I usually have my book (I always write long hand on a plane, easier to hide from my fellow passangers) and I just let the ideas flow. Usually once I’m at this stage in writing, I’ve been thinking about the story and characters for a few weeks. It’s basically just getting everything I can think of from my jumbled mind some place I can look at it. :)
