Sven Says…Day 16
I have to start by saying I had a bad writing week last week. I only managed about 10,000 words on The Bond That Heals Us, 3000 of which I had to get rid of. I did add about 4000 words to All Bottled Up, but that doesn’t help me with Heal.
However, I’m sittingn t 27,000 plus words for the whole novel, and I’m feeling pretty good about it. Now that Bonds is out and I have nothing to drive me insane, I’m going to recommit myself to my writing this week.
So my goal is to get five pages a day written on Heal. That’s it. A nice, simple goal. I don’t want to push myself too much because it’s supposed to be beautiful out this week.
What are your goals? (I hope someone is going to the beach!)

Good luck - you can do 5 pgs in your sleep!

Oh yeah - my goals: Finish Brimstone - woo hoo!!!

You can do it, Kelly!! I really can’t wait for that story to get out there. I love the premise.

Congrats on the Romance Studio nomination and your release! And I wish I lived near the beach…but no. I swelter in a river valley that feels like the surface of the sun.
As far as goals go: Stay inside in the A/C and write about about two solid scenes a day. I don’t want to have just a pile of words by the time this thing is over, lol.
Good luck on your five pages! I’m sure you’ll get them done!

The beach sounds nice - maybe later this week. Falling behind on my page goals. I’m going to sit back and do a little brainstorming, see if I can rescue these characters from a weak plot.

Finish off the second project for Sven and try to force myself back into my EDJ. Phooey.

Bri I grew up in a river valley in Eastern Canada and know exactly how you feel. We would cook all summer long. Now I live near the ocean and we’ve barely seen the sun all summer! Lots of fog though.
Anne, you can do it! Don’t give up on them yet, because from what I hear you have a great story there.
Amy, EDJ is just…evil! This is a busy work week for me so we’ll see how I make out.

I finished The Bond That Ties Us!! WOW
Actually finished it at about 2am Sunday morning, but didn’t have the chance to pop over yesterday and congratulate you on writing such a HOT wonderful, HOT, sexy, HOT story.
I’m not a big sci-fi fan (don’t hate me…), but like with Robin’s book, y’all have a way with aliens!!

No beach for me! OMG I am so excited about your story AND the nomination at Romance Studio! You absolutely deserve it.

Sounds like a very productive week to me, lol. But this has been the summer of my non-productive discontent.
Congrats on the nomination that R.G. and Red are talking about!!

I think my mom and I will likely drive out to Lawrencetown Beach this week - we go often. It’s only a 20 minute drive from our place, and we need to breathe some fresh sea air in a big way.
Writing wise I’m concentrating on getting a solid bead on the villain vampire character and adding some scenes with him. Fun!

Good luck on your five pages, and congrats on your book release and your Romance Studio nomination! Super-fantastic!
My goal? Keep smokin’ those keys for Sven — I’m on a roll and I hope it keeps up!
