Hooked On House

Okay, I know everyone told me that I would really like this show…but OMG this ROCKS!! My husband and I finished watching the first season of House last night. I can’t wait to get into season two tonight and I need to find out when season three is going to come out of DVD so I can buy it too. Wow!

Now, I’m a sucker for the wounded hero (I think that’s why I identify with Dr. Cameron so much) and House is a perfect blend of Alpha male, lost soul, and jerk. Yes, I love the jerk part of him too. Also might explain why I love Rodney in Stargate: Atlantis so much. A character who speaks his (or her) mind is a great foil for conflict in a show. It also makes you wonder what is going on underneath their armor to make them that way.

I want to learn more…

Yesterday, I didn’t get as much writing done as I’d hoped. I managed four pages on my wizard’s story, about half way through chapter five. Not sure where this is going yet, but I’m about to introduce the external conflict so it should be fun. :)

I haven’t been able to watch 5min of House. But then, nothing about him is attractive to me, and I already have too many shows to watch.. lol

Hehehe! I don’t need to get hook on another TV show.

I was the same way Angela until I saw it from the beginning. Once you get to understand where he’s coming from, a lot of what he says and does makes sense. If you can borrow the DVDs from someone, I’d say go for it.

I’ve been hooked out House from the get-go, so I share your enthusiasm. Was it the final epi of season one when House’s leg injury was revealed? I can’t remember — if it was — that one ROCKED! Season two is awesome, but season three was a bit iffy for me. Not the medical drama part, that was still terrific, but House’s personal life got very messy (for lack of an less unrevealing description!).
I love how he treats his interns — hehehehehehe. Totally gives Foreman and hunky Aussie, whose name I can NEVER remember, such a hard time, it’s hilarious. ‘Course, you’d never get away with that kind of behaviour in REAL life, which is why it’s so funny on television. He acts like we all WISH we could, when confronted with idiots. No sensor on his brain/mouth. Ahhh… the freedom to say it like it is.

Did I really write “I’ve been hooked OUT House…”!?!?!?

Okay, now we really have to watch House. It’s on our long list of shows we want to watch. And out of the summer lineup, the only show I’ve been watching is The Lot.

we watch House religiously. Mrs Duck got into it during year one because they actually did a show about a rare condition she has and that impressed her. We are still hooked.
