Review - Alien Overnight
I used to have a reoccurring dream about a group of hunky aliens who came to Earth looking for women to mate with (explains a lot about me doesn’t it). So imagine my utter excitement when I read the blurb for Robin L. Rotham’s debut novel Alien Overnight. If you haven’t seen this here you go:
Commander Kellen is on Earth recruiting women for his planet’s sex-starved males. Not particularly excited by human anatomy, he seeks nothing more for himself than the occasional slaking of his needs with some anonymous female — which shouldn’t be a problem, since she’ll have to face the other way to accommodate his special anatomical needs.
Dr. Monica Teague is thrilled with her ten-year assignment caring for Garathan’s sexual recruits. Her quirky looks and childish excuse for a body guarantee she’ll never be expected to put out — which is kind of a bummer, now that she’s up to her armpits in horny alien beefcake.
But, when an overdose of alien pheromones makes Monica drunk off her ass, Kellen quickly claims the odd little doctor before another Garathani realizes what she is. The overdose sparks a violent chain reaction in her, and when Monica finally wakes, she’s got the body of a porn star — and two sexy alien mates who are determined to tame her.
If only she were as determined not to let them…

I picked up this hot little e-book with great excitement and couldn’t wait to get into it. Monica is a completely sympathetic character, yet funny as hell. I think most people can relate to her not feeling a part of the world around them at one point or another in their lives. Kellen is so hot and hunky I found myself wanting to submit to him too! I loved as the details of his former life slowly came out and how his past made him connect even more to Monica and her change. When he finally submits to her…wowza! Love him!
And I really felt for poor Shauss. I hope he gets his own story soon!
The sex between the three of them is smokin’ hot. The power play between domination and submission was handled really well, and at no point did I feel Monica lost any of her spark for wanting to give herself over to Kellen.
Alien Overnight is a hot, quick read and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a steamy futuristic.

I liked how she set up the spaceship - details, descriptions - what an imagination Ms Rotham has. How the aliens are human-like, but about 1000 years further into evolution. Very cool.
And I totally agree - Shauss needs his story told.

Wow, I’ve never made anyone’s dream come true before!
(Well, except maybe Mr. Robin’s…) Thank you, Christine — I’m thrilled you enjoyed AO so much. Hopefully Shauss’s story will be just as compelling. (biting nails)

I LOVED Alien Overnight. Extremely well written and amazingly creative, with some awesome characters who managed to capture my total interest despite me knowing “nothing” about this amazing futuristic world. Amazing story, and yeees, I, too, wanted to submit to Kellen. In fact Kellen made me realize how totally easy I am. I was so willing from the first, HA!
I can’t wait for Shauss’s book either so I’m glad to read there will be one!
