Dizzy Blonde
Sorry I didn’t post at my normally perky hour. I was home sick today with a headache and a dizzy head. I even went to the doctor to see what is going on. I’m never going back again. He told me I had to give up caffeine. All of it.
*sob*
Basically my daily intake of tea is the equivalent of taking high blood pressure medication. Now for someone with low blood pressure, this is a bad thing. So for the next little while I’ll be weaning myself off the big C and moving over to decaf.

I don’t care what it does, I’m not giving up chocolate!
I’ve been working away at my Halloween story. I read through it as I was laying in bed and added some bits so it joins with Renee’s chapters better. I love the contrasts we have in the story. Her characters have a great sense of humor, mine are darker. But somehow, it all comes together.
*spoiler alert - talking about Heroes and 24 finales*
Last night was the season finale of Heroes and 24. Heroes didn’t disappoint at all. I knew Nathan was going to come through in the end, but it sucks he died! Mind you, with the whole time traveling thing I guess no one is really dead. I loved how they wrapped the season up, but still gave us a cliffhanger for next year. September can’t come soon enough.
24 ended on a strong note as well. I was scared what they were going to do, but honestly, as soon as Bill showed up again I was happy. I love Bill! It’s his voice. And the last scene in the show was perfect. Jack was alone again, but somehow he seemed to come full circle. I just hope they are able to shake things up next season.

No caffeine? NONE?? AHHHHHH
That’s a worst-nightmare scenario come true.
I call decaff Why-Bother.
Hope you’re feeling better. And be prepared for caffeine-withdrawal headaches for a few days. Not to mention a high level of crankiness…
Poor you.
HUGS!

Poor Christine!! I do hope you’re spared of those withdrawal symptoms. I tried once and succeeded oh, say about two hours. Maybe three. I really ought to try harder.
I’m sure you’ll do great though. And I hope you’re feeling better already?

I was ready to give up 24 a few weeks ago, but they redeemed themselves with the finale. I also love Bill, and him and Jack make a kick*ss team!
If you have low blood pressure (which I do) you should watch your caffeine? If that’s the case, I’m in trouble. And I’m with you, give up chocolate? Never! Anyway, hope you’re feeling better.

Hmm - I have high blood pressure and I’m supposed to watch the caffeine too. I think it’s a consipiracy.
Hope you feel better soon.

No Big C, how will you function?????????
I agree with Anne it’s all a conspiracy baby.
Congrats on the 20k with the Halloween story. It sounds intriguing. It would be interesting to see how two writers can blend a story together.

Believe me, Rebecca I’ve been moaning about it since I’ve gotten home from the doctor. I love the stuff! It was bad enough I had to give up coffee because of my stomach, but my tea is MINE!!
*sob*
At least I like green tea.

I’m not sure if this be spoiler, but just in case it is..then don’t read any further below if you have not seen the finale season episodes of “24″ or Heroes……..
My thought on “24″….I think usually we will see Jack always chasing bad guy or always in an actions from the first day to go. But this time on this season we see him hardly done alot of that. We do see bit here and there but it usually lead to people trying to keep him away from going after the bad guy. I like to see more actions, more chasing, more Jack yelling “Get down”…etc. *grin*. One things they should learn though is that, people need to TRUST Jack when he said to trust him…geez people LOL..but I agree that the season finale ended in strong postiive notes and it do seem it going to become full circle….
And Heroes ended in a good cliff hanger….it make me want to know what going to happen next. Things happen all at onces, Heroes see each others. It felt like it have been a long season, but it only their 1st season! LOL…
I’m sorry you got sick, I wish you a fast speedy recovery. Rest up in bed for awhile with a good book
Get well soon!
