Sunday Goals
Hello everyone. I’m happy to say both my daughters survived their adventures yesterday. My youngest had a great time at her Spark camp and my oldest hung out with horses. My husband and I got to enjoy some time together (which felt very strange without the kids) and managed to get some shopping done.
I’m thrilled to say that I’m officially done The Bond That Ties Us! It’s gone off to get it’s release date. As soon as I know I’ll…you’ll know.
With that gone, I have time to concentrate on both Perfect Match and my Halloween story. I made a start on Chapter 3 last night, but I think I’m going to scrap it and start over. I didn’t like the tone.
Which brings me to my goals. This week I’m going to write chapter three of the Halloween story. I feel like I’ve been saying this for ages now and want to get moving foward. I love the story and the characters, but it seemed everytime I started to make headway, something else popped up. I also need to put the finishing touches on my presentation for our writers retreat this coming weekend. I’m doing a session on Goal, Motivation, Conflict and plan on using Stargate: Atlantis as my example.
What do you have planned?
PS - I’m trying out this Technorati thing…please pardon the bottom of this post!

Congratulations on completing The Bond that Ties Us! Doing a happy dance for you.
Hubby and I are having a nice weekend — I’m working on a new novel and we went to a bluegrass concert last night. Fun!

I’m glad you had a great weekend and the girls had fun. I can’t believe I wasn’t on the blogosphere when you were into the sauce!
I hate that tomorrow is Monday.

Your weekend sounds like it beat mine hands down. When I wasn’t taking care of the Chicken Pox Kid, I was picking up the thousands of branches and sticks littering the lawn. Glad you had fun, though.
