Good morning Starshine!
Christine says hello!
Apologies to Mr. Denver. I can’t carry a tune in a bucket.
Maybe it’s because it’s Friday, but I feel fan-fricken-tastic this morning. Ever have one of those days when you just get out of bed and feel good? I had a shower, my hair did what I wanted it to do, my kids were happy, my husband cuddly…just a great morning. I’m glad. I hated feeling crappy all week and taking it out on all of you. So my promise, no more grumpies!
I finished my last round of edits on The Bond That Ties Us last night.
This weekend I have to come up with a 150 word blurb and then off it goes. I’m really excited about how the book has turned out. It’s richer than it was when I started the whole editing process, which I believe is the point.
It also means I’ll be able to focus in on the next two stories I have on my plate. Perfect Match is about half way through a serious read through. I think I’m still going to run into problems as I get into it, but so far so good. The Halloween story stalled this week because of my edits, but I’m hoping to get a start on chapter three tonight.
This weekend will be fun. My youngest is going to a Sparks sleepover. She will be gone most of the day and all night. It will be very strange not having her around. My oldest will be gone too. She has a Brownie event at a local ranch. She’ll be in heaven playing with the horses. I know she’ll come home wanting riding lessons. I so can’t afford to have kids LOL!
Sunday we have our local RWA meeting. I’ve very excited because Stella MacLean is going to be previewing her presentation that she’ll be giving at Nationals this year. As I won’t be going to Nationals (see above note re no money) it will be great to see her in action.
What are your plans for the weekend?

Sounds like a fantastic weekend! I’m feeling hormonal which translates to some mild depression today. Mostly stemming from the frustrating work environment I’m in. I really hate to be micromanaged, the new manager is craptastic.
I haven’t cleaned my house in about a week…. so this weekend has got to focus on some good ole fashioned spring cleaning.

HUGS hon! I think that was my problem this week too. Except I was just really busy, not micromanaged. My boss is in another province.
I hope you have a great weekend and you’re house is clean!

Ya I have good morning Star Shine in my head now too. I have a date this weekend with my husband. Our first in a long time. It’s a double date, we’re setting a couple up. So it’ll be fun. Glo in the Dark mini golfing and dinner. Yay!
Other than that I hope to clean, use my new washer and dryer and do some gardening.
Have a good weekend Starshine!

Trying to stay dry first and foremost, since it looks like the weather is going to be disasterous until Sunday.

I’m planning to crash on my couch to start Friday off. Sleep is very high on the agenda. Checking out the library booksale, also good. Writer’s lunch on Sunday - divine. Meeting after that - fun. Working on my retreat workshop. Gathering pictures for the collage workshop. All good.

Hope your day turned out just as great as your morning. I plan to be at Sunday’s chapter meeting, so looking forward to the presentation - and lunch at Cora’s.
