First off I want to thank everyone for their kind words on my cover yesterday. I’m still really excited about it and the knowledge that I’m getting closer to my book coming out. I’ll let you all know as soon as I have a release date.
There is something cool about Friday the 13th, isn’t there? I know there is a lot of superstitions out there, but the idea that this day is bad luck has always intregued me. Personally, I’ve always had pretty good luck on the 13th, which leads me to believe that luck is what you make it.
I’m really happy today is Friday though. I didn’t get a lot of writing done, maybe around 500 words. I’m actually okay with that. I made some progress on my Halloween story and finished my edits for The Bond That Ties Us. This weekend I think I’m going to dig out my genie story and polish it up. Then I need to figure out who I’m going to send it to.
This weekend I also plan on finishing up the last episode of Stargate: Atlantis and the last five episodes Stargate: SG1 . I’m not going to know what to do with myself once they are done. 
What are your plans for the weekend?
I’ve always held a special place for the 13th of the month. I’m typically not reminded of it until it falls on a Friday.
This weekend I’m supposed to go around the neighbourhood getting signatures for a petition to have a nearby school expanded to include grades 7 & 8 so that when they get the new school built way down the way and my children get to those grades, they won’t have to walk along an arterial roadway for 30 – 45 minutes to get to school.
The other side of this unfortunate story is that I hear that it’s supposed to be rainy for the next few days. 
Happy Friday the 13th! Tomorrow’s my local RWA chapter meeting, so I plan to head to that. Sunday, not sure yet. Hopefully I squeeze some writing in! =)
Going to the TRW meeting, sounds good. Claire Delacroix is giving us a talk on Synopses.
Other than that, I have been watching my Friends DVD starting from beginning to end. I just started Season 3. I forgot how funny those early ones were.
I hope to get more writing on JOURNEY done, and work on my synopsis and cover letter for MASQUE.
Actually with respect with Friday 13th I think I had a horrible day yesterday, but today, it’s great! I must have reverse luck too.
To European’s – especially Italians because they tend to make a big shit over everything (I’m allowed to say it because technically I’m half Italian – my half is my husband
) Anyways… getting back to my point, because really there is one… Friday the 13th is a lucky day in Europe. It is believed that good things happen and if you need the extra luck this is the day to do whatever task you wouldn’t believe you could accomplish without the extra help. 
So have a happy and lucky day today!
I’m working this weekend. Yay! But I got today off… so luck is already proving to be on my side!
