I’ve had one interesting weekend. The bad was my hair cut (see below post). We won’t talk about it except to say I’m slowly coming to terms with it. The scary is this…last night after watching The Departed (which so totally rocked!!) my husband goes pale, can’t breathe, and starts having chest pains. He’s 35 and I got very scared. So after calling 911 we made a trip to the hospital in the ambulance. After a few hours in emergency we find out he’s fine, but we have no idea what happened to him. We didn’t get home until 3 am and my girls were up at 6:30 am. To quote my youngest daughter when she was younger, “My sleepy.”
The good news, I reached my writing goal for the week. Didn’t just reach it – crushed it! I was hoping to get 3000 words written on Perfect Match, but somehow managed over 6000 and the day is still young. I know exactly where the story is going now and shouldn’t have any further problems finishing it. I’m so happy.
I’ve also setup a new chat group! I plan on stopping by to chat with friends both old and new to talk about writing, life, and anything else that catches our interest.

That’s terrifying Christine! I hope he feels better. I hate it when doctors don’t know what’s wrong. What the hell?!? It’s like us writing a book without an ending! Are they at least going to keep an eye out on him? I hope so!
Congrats on the 6000 words. You kicked some major a$$ in that department! Wooo hoooo!
Congrats on pulverizing the word count. Thank goodness it turned out to be nothing, I almost died when I read it. This Friday my uncle had a heart attack so when I read that your husband was having chest pains … whew.
I’m sure your sleepy, running on adreline can be a killer.
So happy everyone is ok.
That’s scary. Hope everything’s okay!
I signed up for your group…
I’m glad your hubby is okay..It would have been nice to find out what was wrong….
Congrats on crushing the goal, it is always nice to do more than you expect…
About the hair, i know how you feel..I have had one of those cuts….
Sorry your husband had a mystery ailment attack. I’ve had that happen years ago and it’s great that it goes away and all is better, but disconcerting to never know what the hell happened. Congrats on kickin’ writing goal ass.
That’s scary stuff about your husband. Hope he makes an appointment with his dr. to follow up.
And isn’t it nice that hair grows?
Oh, man, I’m glad he’s feeling better! And way to go on your weekly goals!
Yikes, scary about hubby but I’m glad he’s okay!
Christine,… was it your hair? Is it so scary that you threw your poor hubby into palpitations? *wink*
That’s quite a scare!! Hope everything is okay now.
Congrats on your word count!! Can you hear the admiration/envy in my voice?
I’ve threatened my husband that if he ever does something like that again he better die, becasuse otherwise I’ll kill him for scaring me like that. He’s agreed.
I’m really motivated to get this story finished. I hope I can keep the word count up this week.
