Haircut from hell
*sigh* The title says it all people. I went for a trim and came back with a cut. Who knew shoulder lenght meant different things to different people. I should look fine in a few months.
And my husband is a wonderful man. He even says he likes it. ![]()

Oh, I hate it when that happens. I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think
Your dh sounds like a smart man!

Whoa… sounds like you need a new stylist!
Although, to be honest, I always hate my hair the first few days, even after a trim. I swear, the diva who does it puts some mojo on it and it takes that long for it to wear off…
Hang in there. The nice thing about hair is that it’s constantly changing.

I haven’t found a stylist I like since I’ve moved. It’s been terrible.
And you’re right, I’m sure it’s not as bad as I think it is, it’s just it’s so short. Think Starbuck from Battlestar short, only I don’t look that good!
DH is a saint.

There are smart men in the world - your husband definitely sounds like one of them.
I’m sure it’s not that bad… probably just different. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve walked out of a hair salon praying that lightning would strike on the place! But it gets better as days go on.
Sending you a hug!

I won’t believe you until I see photographic evidence
What do your kids say? Kids are usually brutally honest! I came home with a new color once and my (then) four-yr-old said “Mommy, your hair looks like bacon!” Awww geez. Thanks kid.

One of the worst haircuts i’ve seen was when my 22 yr. old son came home to visit a few months ago. “Take your hat off” i said as he walked around the house. He took it off and i yelled “Holy HELL! What happened to your hair?”
The stylist had given him a little dutchboy haircut.
I told him, “I’m your mother. i love you. i won’t let you go out in public like that.” (Poor guy was practically in tears. It DID look horrid.) So we grabbed some scissors and i chopped at it until it no longer looked quite so doofy. In my opinion. The next time he came to visit he had a buzz cut.

Wylie, my oldest said she liked it, but I believe my husband told her I didn’t so the sweetie was trying to make me feel better. It’s not really that bad just not what I wanted at all.
Rhian, I feel for your son. But at least a buzz cut looks good on the guys. I don’t feel like pulling a Brintney.

Oh man I understand that. I got a hair cut and I think the girl cut it way to short. It’s too spiky.
My hubby’s like yours, he said he liked it.
Don’t worry, yours is probably not bad at all. It’ll have grown out enough for TTN!!!!

My hubby’s the same way — he likes my hair however I wear it.
I’m sorry your stylist cut your hair too short, though!
LOL @ Wylie’s kiddo’s comment!

So sorry to hear that! I had the Highlights from Hell last summer. I went back to have them redone, and they’re growing out now.
Maybe it’ll grow on you (ignore that pun).
